The Most Beautiful Villages Branch of China Tourism Association is a non-profit national social organization, under the leadership of China Tourism Association, under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China and the supervision and management of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

Anren Ancient Town

The existing old block buildings were built in the late Qing Dynasty, especially during the heyday of establishing Chinese and Western styles, the Liu family’s Chinese Republican period, and the style is a combination. Noble, elegant, generous, various types of compounds, creating the unique architectural style of Anren City.

Anyi Ancient Village

Anyi Ancient Village, founded during the Tang Dynasty over 1,400 years ago, features well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty buildings, along with a wealth of cultural relics like Tang-era stone arches, Song and Yuan dynasty drainage systems, ancient camphor trees, granite-paved streets, theaters, private schools, ancestral halls, and incense rooms.

Dali Ancient Town

Dali Ancient Town, located in western Yunnan Province, is a historic capital with over 500 years of history, renowned for its rich cultural heritage and 14 key cultural relics protection units. Recognized as one of China’s first historical and cultural cities, it serves as Yunnan’s political, economic, and cultural center. Dali is a national and international tourist destination celebrated for its natural landscape and vibrant cultural legacy.

Danzhai Villages

Danzhai Wanda Villages is a donation project of Wanda Group to help Danzhai County in Guizhou Province alleviate poverty and achieve rural revitalization, and promote the economic development of Danzhai through the development of tourism industry. Lulang Villages

The core area of Lulang has unique natural landscapes such as Sejila National Forest Park, Nanga Bawa Peak, Lulang Linhai and pastoral scenery, as well as cultural resources with unique Gongbu Tibetan characteristics such as Wuzhai Folk Village.

Mountain town

In 2017, it was selected into the first batch of “Ecological Characteristic Villages” of Wuhan Municipal Construction Committee, and in 2018, it was selected into the list of “Beautiful and Livable Villages” in Hubei Province. Zhangbi Ancient Castle

Zhangbi Castle covers an area of approximately 0.12 square kilometers. It was constructed during the Later Zhao period of the Sixteen Kingdoms over 1600 years ago. It stands as a well-preserved ancient military fortification and is the only village in Shanxi Province designated as both a national historical and cultural village and a traditional village.

Zhouzhuang Ancient Town

Established in 1086, Zhouzhuang is like a shining pearl inlaid between Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou. The town is a marshland, surrounded by water on all sides. Boats are needed to travel anywhere. The town is built along the river, with bridges and streets connected to each other. It is a typical “small bridge, flowing water, and houses.”
